Love, Joy, Peace...
Meet the Pastor

From The Pastor,

The article “What Good Is a Tree?” in Reader’s Digest explained that when the roots of trees touch, there is a substance present that reduces competition. In fact, this unknown fungus helps link the roots of different trees—even of dissimilar species. A whole forest may be linked together. If one tree has access to water, another to nutrients, and a third to sunlight, the trees have the means to share with one another.

Like trees in a forest, Christians in the church need and support one another

The Apostle Paul wrote to the church at Colossae that love is the perfect bond of unity. Paul was not only emphasizing that we as Christians should love one another but in doing so, we should form a perfect bond, united together, serving and working together, that God will get the glory in all we do.

Colossians 3:12-14, lays the foundation of the character we should present to the outer world; “Being chosen by God, holy and beloved, we must have a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience; bearing one another’s faults and forgiving those who persecute us or have complaints against us.” Let us remain united in the bonds of love which our Lord and Savior bestowed upon us with His sacrifice on the Cross and His Resurrection from the grave.

As a Family of God, let us continue to Love each other, Pray for one another and be United with each other as we spread the Good News of Jesus Christ.
